Coal stockpile silo left at Kermit, Mingo County. Belt conveyor at Kermit. The tipple was torn down but these were left. Future plans may be to rebuild so they were left.

Coal train loading took place here at Kermit, compltet with conveyor belt. It is possible that since these were taken, the remains have been torn down.

The remains of a hoist headhouse at Eastern Associateds Kopperston mine. The tipple was torn down and this is a remnant that has escaped.

A shot from the back showing how time and the elements have taken their toll. And finally my favorite, the hoist house after a rain.
